Ever since we were children, we spent our afternoons in our grandparents’ restaurant, a place where the aroma of homemade stews mingled with the laughter of the diners and the sound of cutlery clattering against the plates. There we learned, almost without realizing it, the value of local ingredients, the importance of good service and respect for traditional cuisine.

Over the years, there was something that always united us: the desire to recover that essence that we experienced as children and give it our own stamp. This is how Origen was born, a restaurant in the heart of Avila that honors our roots with a modern look.

After years of learning and effort, we have returned to the starting point, but this time with our own vision. Origen is more than a restaurant; it is a reflection of our history, a tribute to our family and a commitment to the future of Avila’s cuisine, which today we reinvent with respect and passion.

At Origen we are committed to zero kilometer products, respecting the gastronomic richness of the area: the veal cutlet from Avila, the local cheese, the yolks of Santa Teresa… all with a creative twist that surprises without losing authenticity.

Even the fish, brought from abroad but treated with Ignacio’s mastery, finds its place in a menu balanced between the classic and the innovative.
